LASTING IMPACT SINCE 2020

The African Left-Handers Foundation (ALHF) was established in 2020 to advance advocacy for the human rights of left-handed communities across the African continent in collaboration with other organisations seeking to protect left-handed communities’ rights globally.

The African Left-Handers Foundation (ALHF) has forged a strategic partnership with the Centre for Education Rights and Transformation (CERT) at the University of Johannesburg as a higher education partner towards the co-hosting of the Harmony of Hands Indaba and Festival on 17 September 2024 at the University of Johannesburg in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The strategic partnership between CERT and ALHF is designed to leverage the mutual value a proposition that can be acquired for knowledge production & research depository that can be applied towards promoting handed equality in the education sector and the broader society.
