For the duration of September, which is Deaf Awareness Month, we are partnering with the Center for Universal Access and Disability Support (CUADS) at the University of the Free State (UFS). This isn’t just about showing support; it’s about actively promoting a culture of accessibility.

At the African Left-Handers Foundation, we are driven by a simple but powerful truth: our shared differences make us stronger. We believe in creating a world where every unique way of interacting and communicating is recognized, valued, and respected. This is why, throughout the month of September, we are incredibly proud to stand in solidarity with CUADS UFS and the Deaf community.
Finding Common Ground, One Hand at a Time
As left-handers, we are often the first to notice when a space, an object, or an entire communication system wasn’t designed with us in mind.
